Hazard Statements
Skin contact: mild irritant. Skin absorption: not absorbed. Eye contact: may cause mild irritation. Inhalation: dust may irritate mildly. Ingestion: non-toxic. Intake of very large amounts of stpp could cause calcium deficiency due to chemical binding of calcium. This might cause injury to the heart or nervous system. No hazards anticipated from swallowing small amounts incidental to normal handling operations.
Precautionary Statements
Wash skin with soap and water. Flush eyes with abundant water. In case of inhalation, remove to fresh air. If the symptoms persist, consult a physician. In case of ingestion, give large quantities of water if conscious. Do not give anything by mouth to a convulsing or unconscious person. If a large amount is swallowed, get medical attention. Sweep or shovel material into waste container. Flush area with water to remove trace residue.
