Hazard Statements
Eye: Can cause blurred vision, redness, pain, severe tissue burns, and eye damage. Skin Contact: Corrosive. Symptoms of redness, pain, and severe burns can occur. Ingestion: Corrosive. Swallowing can cause severe burns of the mouth, throat, and stomach. Can cause sore throat, vomiting, and diarrhea. Inhalation of vapors or mists of the product can be destructive to the tissues of the mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Symptoms may include burning sensation, coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, shortness of breath, headache, nausea, and vomiting.
Precautionary Statements
Provide adequate ventilation consistent with the exposure guideline when applicable. Use NIOSH-approved respirators in areas where exposure guideline limits are exceeded. Rubber or plastic gloves. Chemical safety goggles and/or full face shield.
